Aditi Rao Hydari, your once-upon-a-time sartorial story is now

A lesser-known fact about the doe-eyed Hyderabadi beauty is that she is royalty. Both of Hydari’s parents belong to the nobility of the erstwhile Hyderabad state. It makes sense why Aditi Rao Hydari created her own little fairytale at the Cannes De Festival 2023. She represented the cosmetic giant, L’Oreal Paris in the French Riviera. The mood board for this stint conspired with her fashion stylist of many years, Sanam Ratansi was clearly princesscore or regalcore. It is an aesthetic that blends fairy tale elements with modern sartorial sensibilities. It’s all about being whimsical with alluring pastels, dainty florals, voluminous skirts, intricate hand embroideries, and much more. And what better than red carpet couture to embrace this trend?

Aditi Rao Hydari is a master of quick change. She has crafted a fine fashion arsenal wherein ethnic styles are her salient forte. But she goes on to tap contemporary styles too, with equal fervour. Right in the prime of her career, Aditi straddles the weight of her regal legacy while also safely securing a sequence of stellar opportunities, placing her at that perfect insider-outsider intersection in Bollywood. Her glam was helmed by Mitesh Rajani. Here’s a closer look at her.
