Jigra is an action thriller film directed by Vasan Bala, who co-wrote it with Debashish Irengbam. The film’s narrative chronicles Satya, a traumatized young woman, who must undertake an arduous task to rescue her brother Ankur from a foreign jail. Released on October 11, 2024, coinciding with Vijayadashami festivities, the film also features Sobhita Dhulipala, Manoj Pahwa, Aditya Nanda, and Rahul Ravindran in pivotal roles apart from Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina.
