All eyes on Huma Qureshi being a vibrant walking wishlist

They say balancing flavour is a subtle art as much as it relies on science. The best chefs, armed with a vast experience and intuition go on to master flavours. Celebrated Indian chef and cookbook author, the late Tarla Dalal was one such fine master chef. Bringing her to life on the silver screen is Huma Qureshi with her interpretation as the late cook with Zee5’s Tarla. The promotions saw Huma team up with fashion stylist Sanam Ratansi and channel a distinct modern and slick vibe. Pantsuits and prints featured amply with Huma upping them with a strong beauty game in tow.

Huma Qureshi is spunky and she knows it! She charmed her way into our hearts with Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur from the word go. She oozes a rare exuberance on-screen and delights with her spontaneity, charm and versatility off-screen. On the fashion front, Huma Qureshi retains the same experimental streak. She goes on to imbibe all of that signature spunk and snowball it into one edgy chic style after another. Here’s a closer look at Huma’s arsenal.

All White Mood – Huma Qureshi for Tarla

The screening of Tarla saw Huma opt for a high-fashion monochrome vibe with Zara separates. The look featured a vest (worth Rs.2,990), blazer (worth Rs.4,990) with rolled up sleeves and straight leg trousers (worth Rs.3,290). She accessorised the look with nails from Soezi, a layered necklace by Ineze, earrings by I Blame Beads, rings by Misho and E3K. She completed the look with strappy white heels, sleek center-parted hair and a nude glam.

Printastic Fantastic

Huma wore a co-ord set from July Issue worth Rs.23,999. The set featured a polka dotted bandeau bralette, a striped and floral printed jacket and floral printed straight pants. Rings by E2K and earrings by Azotiique upped the look. She rounded out the look with strappy white heels, soft waves and a nude glam.

Yellow Mood – Huma Qureshi for Tarla

Verdant Vibes

Teal Steal

A teal blue coloured suit by Riti Rahul Shah featured a jacket, bralette and pants. She added a colour-blocking element with tanergine earrings by Deepa Gurnani. Matching pumps, wavy hair and a dewy glam completed her look.

Clean and Classy – Huma Qureshi for Tarla

A black corset from Hiro was paired with high-waist black trousers from Zara. A slick braid, nude glam, black strappy heels and jewellery by Azotiique completed her look.

Tarla is a biopic on celebrated Indian chef and cookbook author Tarla Dalal starring Huma Qureshi in the titular role with Sharib Hashmi as Nalin Dalal. Tarla has been directed by Piyush Gupta and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari. The film was released on ZEE5 on 7th July.
