Sobhita Dhulipala is a woman of many virtues. She debuted in Anurag Kashyap’s thriller Raman Raghav 2.0 and followed it up with the Amazon Prime Video drama series Made in Heaven (2019) which catapulted her to fame. She goes on to compliment that brilliant on-screen presence with a one-of-a-kind fashion arsenal, off-screen. She was seen as Vanathi, a witty and courteous queen in the epic drama, Ponniyin Selvan: I. With the release of Ponniyin Selvan: II on the anvil, Sobhita was seen promoting the film in Chennai. Styled by Eka Lakhani, Sobhita chose to flaunt florals – an Anita Dongre saree. She soaked up the glistening Chennai sun, dripping gorgeousness all along.

Picturesque perfection – Sobhita Dhulipala
Sobhita draped an Anita Dongre Juliette lime-toned saree set that retails online at Rs.29,900. The multi-hued floral printed saree featured light sequin embroidery and was complimented with a cami-strapped blouse. Delicate baubles of a bracelet and earrings accompanied. She finished the look with soft waves, nude glam and a small bindi.
Ponniyin Selvan: II is a Tamil epic historical action-adventure film directed by Mani Ratnam and a cinematic adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel, Ponniyin Selvan. It follows closely on the heels of Ponniyin Selvan: I which was released worldwide on 30 September 2022. PS1 received critical acclaim with respect to the direction, performances, visuals, music and faithfulness to the novel.
