She shared a series of images from the inception of this design right to its fruition on Instagram. The bespoke creation bore a distinct modern traditionalist essence. Blackout – Pooja Hegde

It was a bespoke saree specially designed by Monica Shah of the label Jade by Karishma and Monica. It featured a flamboyant tiered silhouette in the label’s signature and timeless shade of jade onyx black. A complimenting embellished underwired blouse upped the look. A statement necklace by Falguni Mehta and a statement ring were the only accessories that she chose. She completed the look with subtle glam featuring bold, lined eyes and nude pink lips.

Style notes 

A fiercely feminine style, Pooja’s look is perfect for glittering evenings like an elegant cocktail party. The underwired blouse is the perfect touch of sophistication and drama. 

On the professional front, Pooja Hegde was last seen with Salman Khan in Farhad Samji’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. It was released on 21 April to coincide with the Eid festivities. She will be seen in Trivikram Srinivas’ next film with Mahesh Babu and John Abraham which is tentatively titled SSMB28. She will also be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 5 with an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda.
