Radhika Madan is all about being EXTRA glam

Her coy charm charms instantly. But Radhika Madan has a flair for the edgy. If you’re wondering what this edgy style of hers really means? It’s simply being unconventional and distinct. And Radhika Madan has figured out a landscape to frolic in it with an unabashed spirit – whether it’s films or fashion. An edgy film repertoire compliments an equally edgy off-screen fashion one. For instance, a week ago her film Sanaa opened the 25th UK Asia Film Festival in London. Her edgy style aesthetic was courtesy of her stylist Amandeep Kaur and feted designer Neeta Lulla. Thinking outside of the box, we saw Radhika pairing together unusual pieces. It was a whimsical yet modern take on an Indian warrior princess.

Currently basking in the glory of yet another successful stint – Homi Adajania’s Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo, Radhika Madan is a certified style cynosure. She goes on to give homegrown and international labels a worthy tap with her style offerings. Here’s a closer look at Radhika Madan’s modern-day princess avatar.

Fierce, Edgy and Feminine – Radhika Madan

It was a bespoke Neeta Lulla creation featuring a blue and gold silk skirt replete with details such as thigh-high slit and mesh. She paired this with a high-neck underwired crop top in black leather underlined with the same blue-gold fabric as the skirt. A pair of thigh-high black leather boots, ear cuffs from Lune, side parted slick low ponytail upped the look. Radhika finished the look with a bold glam of winged eyes, strong eyebrows, and deeply lined eyes with a hint of teal blue and nude lips.

Style notes

It’s all about the right details in this edgy aesthetic – leather and ear cuffs. We love how Radhika gave the traditional gowns and pantsuits a rest, allowing her costume/theme-based bespoke ensemble to take centre stage. Not only did it allow her to play aplenty with the glam but also keep things minimal too.
