Rakul Preet Singh is living life in warm yellows

Versatility could well be her middle name. Quintessentially a Delhi girl, she began by wooing the Kannada, Tamil and Telugu film industries. In recent times, Rakul Preet Singh has been steadily making a mark in Bollywood. All through this, she goes on to enjoy a phenomenal fan following across social media platforms. On the fashion front too, Rakul goes to stir up the same versatility and is a delight to reckon with. We saw her sparkle like sunshine with a sunny attitude to boot in a yellow-toned saree from designer Krisha Sunny Ramani.

Minimalism and effortless chicness are the thriving elements of her fashion arsenal. But within this realm, she experiments amply too having earned a rare knack to pull off bold hues, tricky fabrics and risque silhouettes with an enviable aplomb. Rakul doesn’t believe in adopting a particular vibe as her go-to but approaches fashion with an unflinching and unabashed attitude. She was styled by Anshika Verma with makeup artist Salim Sayed and hairstylist Aliya Shaik helming the glam. Here’s a closer look at her saree style.

Sunkissed – Rakul Preet Singh

It was a lime green saree set retailing at Rs.38,500 featuring hand-embroidered striped detailing in silver patti. A cami-strapped blouse complemented the saree. Rakul accessorised the look with a necklace from Kohar by Kanika, and silver bangles by Aquamarine. She finished the look with soft glam and soft wavy centre-parted hair.

Style notes

While the saree and the minimal glam coupled with the statement necklace were perfect accompaniments, the look would have worked just fine without the bangles.
