Directed by Vasan Bala, who also co-wrote it with Debashish Irengbam, Jigra is an action thriller film. The plot follows Satya, a traumatized young woman, who must transform into a hero to rescue her brother Ankur from a foreign jail. The film was released on October 11, 2024, coinciding with Vijayadashami festivities. Apart from Alia and Vedang, the film also features Aditya Nanda, Sobhita Dhulipala, Manoj Pahwa, and Rahul Ravindran in pivotal roles.
